TEHRAN – Mohsen Kaveh was named as new head coach of Iran freestyle wrestling team on Saturday.

He replaced Pejman Dorostkar, who stepped down as head coach of the national team earlier in the day.

Dorostkar had been appointed as Team Melli head coach after the 2020 Olympic Games.

Kaveh, who was serving as freestyle team’s technical manager, will lead the team in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
